Efrie Escott explores topics related to materials and the environment as a Principal in the Research Group at KieranTimberlake.
Efrie works with teams to translate data-driven research into building design and leads KieranTimberlake's sustainability task force. As a core member of the development team for Tally®, an award-winning BIM-integrated life cycle assessment tool, her research has been published in several internationally-recognized, peer-reviewed academic journals. She was a member of the USGBC Materials and Resources Technical Advisory Group, the founder of Philadelphia's Dynamo User Group, and is a current AIA Philadelphia Women in Architecture Co-Chair and member of the ILFI Energy + Carbon Technical Advisory Group.
Efrie lectures internationally and teaches at the University of Pennsylvania. She studied architecture and theoretical physics at Yale College before pursuing a Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan and a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment.
